A mix... of french origins: a corsican father and a mother from Britany (not Brit!!!)

A corsican village in the mountains, opposite to Bastia, where all my father's family comes from.



A castle near Nantes, lower part of Brittany where my grand father (mother's side) was a doctor, had his pharmacy and cared for his vineyard.



Born in the west indies in Guadeloupe, grew up in Tahiti, French Polynesia in south Pacific...

Loves to travel, meet new people, discover new cultures, see this smile on the faces of remote villagers when I speak a few words of their languages...

Diego is currently developing social innovation and social entrepreneurship projects for Amrita University and Amma’s NGO in Amritapuri, between Kochi and Trivandrum, Kerala, south west India.
Over the past 6 years he has worked in the 3rd sector in London and Bilbao. Firstly as a senior consultant for Action Planning a leading consultancy specialised in the UK 3rd sector dealing mostly with strategic review, governance, change management and sustainability issues. Then as Senior Manager in CAF Advisory and Consulting department he sharpened his knowledge and experience of grant making project at UK level as well as on international projects. Lately as the Director of International Development for the Social Innovation Park in Bilbao, Spain.
A strong background in supply chain management with 6 years spent with Siemens in various positions in International Purchasing completes his profile.
Diego holds a masters in International purchasing as well as a masters in coaching, in Sophrology, a tool for mental preparation and is an alumni of the INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship program (ISEP 98).
He has coached many competitive sport people in the region of Biarritz (under 21 Biarritz rugby team, golfing team...) as well as change management programs in corporates.
His practice of 6 european languages, and basis in 2 indian languages (malayalam and Hindi) helps him to undertake European projects as the SI Park.

Now lets be honest:
I am not a geek, not really an academic guy either!
Never studied hard enough for that, hence a fair but small business school.
It is only after 15 years of work experience that I started to specialize in a field I felt passionate for: SI/SE, and started to aim at the best practices, best universities: i.e. INSEAD, STANFORD...



 2 very high profile conferences at Amrita University Jan 2012, Wireless and humanitarian actions, Technology and Education (spent half a day with Muhamad Yunus, le pere du micro credit, prix Nobel de la Paix 2006...)
