Balconies and Marseillaise

Visiting Pondycherry, especially the French side

is like walking in 7ieme arrondissement de Paris:

Rue de Suffren

Rue de La Bourdonnais…

But it has as well this mix of indian architecture and soft french touch to it which calls for romance.

Beautiful balconies that made me forget the unexpected and soon rejected forecast from the Amritapuri ashram Ayurveda astrologers: "this relationship should not have failed… you were expecting too much…now only romances coming!!! no family... no kids!"

I remember feeling really sad when I heard these readings inspired by planets, stars condemning me to grieve a deep desire of becoming a father and have an harmonious, loving, caring and long lasting family.

But looking at those balconies I felt young again, wanting to climb the vines and reach a Juliette or Roxane to whisper poetry at their hears:

or in India poetry:

"Today it is heaped at your feet, it has found its end in you
The love of all man’s days both past and forever:
Universal joy, universal sorrow, universal life.
The memories of all loves merging with this one love of ours –
And the songs of every poet past and forever."

And end up in a bed like Dupleix's to cross and prove wrong... all ayurveda astrologers!!!
